Christmas Is near

Are you ready for Christmas yet? I am not. Still got to get a few presents and the food shopping! Today I have been cleaning and ironing! I still have a few boxes to go through and loads of rubbish to get rid of!

We had our Christmas meal at work today and it was lovely! I was totally full afterwards but the food was lovely. The profiteroles were gorgeous!! Yum Yum Yum! We were all out of sync when we got back to work! Not sure how much work got done though! Tomorrow will be the same as it is half day and liquer coffees and mince pies!!

Looking forward to the weekend as it is my Christmas with Charlotte! My mum and Bryan are coming up to spend some time with us all! I cant wait for it all! To see Charlottes face opening her presents, having my mum there to see it all..
The other Christmas Day is at Malcolms with his children and I am looking forward to that too! It will be great to see them open their presents especially what I have made for the girls! I hope they like them! It will be me and Malcolms 2nd Christmas but the first with his children! Not sure how they feel about it though!!!
Anyway off to do some more tidying!

Weekend Wailings!!!

Well home again after the weekend at Malcolms... It was brilliant.

Friday started with paying in my insurance cheque!! Yeah!!! then we had the Abba concert.... Wasn't quite what I expected but we sang along and I wore a glitter wig. There is a pic on my phone so when I have recharged it I will pop it on here! I think I look superdouper..... After Abba Malcolm decided to go to the cinema....we did not know what was on so it was a "get there and see" thing. In the end I opted for "The Holiday"! What a brilliant film!! It gave me the same feeling as watching "Love Actually" does. A film I could proberly watch time after time! It kinda got me thinking about me and Malcolm.. We have been together for over a year now and for me the feeling is just the same as it was a year ago!
Actually on the subject... you should see the size of the card he gave me...It was huge!!! and very beautiful! SO Thank you to my man!!!

Ok back to the weekend!! Saturday we went to get the CD fitted in the car and wait for it.... big annoucement... I bought a pair of shoes... Yes I know women are supposed to have a thing for shoes but not me! I buy one pair, wear them til they are falling apart ( and the ones I was wearing were on their last legs) then I buy another pair. Although I have decided that I should maybe buy two pairs so that I dont go round with a worn out pair of shoes.. Whats the point of wearing nice clothes, doing hair and make up when your shoes let you down!!

Oh I had to laugh on |Saturday night. ever since the X factor started we have watched every show and was looking forward to the final! So we sat down to watch it and what does Malcom do............... fall asleep! Now he says I should have woken him up so what do you think??? Wake him or let him sleep???!!!!!

Today we did nothing much.... mainly due to Malcolm staying in bed til 12.15.. and that was my fault to as i should have woken him then too!!! A trip to Asda where I got some food and The Scissors Sisters CD as apresent with a gift token I had got. I also got Charlotte some Bratz thing from her Nan!

So here I am now looking at the small pile of ironing I have and wondering if I should carry on ignoring it or actually do it!! I know what you decide that one too... but it will be too late by the time I come back to see what the final decision is!!!

Thursdays going ons!!!1

It is thursday and well what a week. I have been waiting for the insurance cheque to arrive and was panicking a bit!! Today I came home at lunch time and nabbed the postmen! And it was there! What a relief!!! The tax disc also arrived so I can get a refund!!

Tomorrow me and Malcolm are going to see Abba tribute band. I am so looking forward to it. I booked it months and months ago and now it is here!! so singalong with Abba - dancing queen young and sweet only seventeen... gimme gimme gimme a man after midnight ..... money money money must be funny in a rich mans world... Knowing me knowing you ahhhhh its the best we can do!!! breaking up is never easy I know but I have to go!!!! As you can see I know all the words....

I may get some presents as well! Only a few more to get though!! then all next week I have to wrap them all up! I love that bit!!!!

Happy Mondays!

well Christmas is near..... and I am not ready at all! The tree is up, decorations up but Christmas shopping is nowhere near finished! And I cant do any until next week due to me buying a car today! A Ford Escort L reg! it looks in good condition and as long as it does not break down during the drive home I dont care! We did look at two cars, this one and a Rover 25 - Malcolm is now going to buy that one to do up and race! Now I am not too sure if that makes me feel better or worse about my Ford escort!!! Anyway I just want to thank Malcolm for everything he has done for me over the weekend and today! Without him I would have been totally stuck!!!

Luckily the Insurance is paying me more than I expected so it covers everything and also leaves me with some to put in my savings! Thats another thing I need to do in the new year is start saving again!

Anyway on to Christmas... so next week I have to do my Xmas shopping as that should ne when my cheque clears!! Luckily I know where to get what I need so it should not take me long to buy everything! I may be able to get a few bits and pieces before then!
